The Scott High School Construction Technology classes continued construction on two story, 40x90 log Learning Lodge in the Fall of 2009.  This project provided students with a hands-on learning experience that they will be proud of for years to come. This building will house an interactive hands-on-learning museum for Preschool thru 4th Grade.  Below you will be able to see the project from installing trusses to applying the sheeting and roof liner.

Barna Log Home Training

The Scott High School Construction Technology classes began a new project in the Fall of 2008.  This project provided students with a hands-on learning experience that they will be proud of for years to come.  The class began construction on a two story, 40x90 log structure. This building will house an interactive hands-on-learning museum for Preschool thru 4th Grade.  The new museum will be called The Learning Lodge.  Below you will be able to see the project from the foundation to setting wall logs.

Real School Building   ●   Career Days

Real School Building Project

The Scott High School Construction Technology classes began a new project in the Fall of 2007.  This project provided students with a hands-on learning experience that they will be proud of for years to come.  The classes remodeled an office trailer that was purchased to make classrooms, bathrooms, and offices for the REAL SCHOOL Program.  Below you will be able to see the project from the beginning to the end.

Tennessee Construction Career Days

The Scott High School Construction Technology classes traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee for the "Tennessee Construction Career Days" event.  This event allowed students to view career displays and participate in hands-on projects of various careers .  They were also able to watch the operation of heavy equipment during the day.  Below you will be able to see pictures from the trip.

The Scott High School Construction Technology classes began a new project in the Fall of 2006.  This project provided students with a hands-on learning experience that they will be proud of for years to come.  The classes built the stage for the Scott County Museum.  Below you will be able to see the project from the beginning to the end.     ENJOY!
 

Eldorado Stone Demonstration

The Scott High School Construction Technology classes were given the opportunity to be involved in a demonstration given by a representative for the Eldorado Stone Company.  This allowed students to observe and participate in the application of this product.  Below you will be able to see pictures from the demonstration.
